Outdoor time can be an enriching part of your bunnies’ routine. A few considerations for safe outdoor play:
- Always contain your bunny (x pens work well) and supervise while they’re outdoors
- Check what’s growing! Not all greens are good for their stomachs
- Provide shade and fresh water
Introduce outdoor time gradually if your bunny isn’t used to it
- Watch for stress cues - some rabbits need time to adjust to new environments
- Keep sessions calm and predictable
- Vaccinate yearly to protect them from RHDV
