So I tossed out some apple for this cute orange bunny early in the morning, but it turned out she had a competitor… as I watched, this crow followed behind her, inched up and bit her bum, ending up with a bit of her fur in his beak!!! Thinking this was unacceptable, I went back to the shelter for equipment and irresistible bunny noms, went back to set things up for her… and within 15 minutes she was safely on her way to the shelter with me! Bad news is I think she’s about to have babies. Good news is they’ll be safe with us, a special blessing given the cold rainy weather we’re dealing with right now. Welcome to our newest mommy-to-be.

This heli-eared bunny has been spotted on Cedarbridge Way near the Richmond Food Bank. This one needs to be on our radar for sure. The Bunny Cafe might be able to take him/her.

Somebody reported two really friendly bunnies loose in Garden City Park in Richmond. We can't take them, our donations are way down and our space is challenged, but we'd like them to be on people's radar. Please watch for them!
