And the vet bills keep piling up. One of our rescued meat bunnies from Coquitlam started lurching and looking poorly. She was rushed to the vet (kudos to the Little Paws Animal Clinic for seeing her at the end of a very long day making it much much longer). We thought she had a broken rear leg, but a million x-rays later and no answers.
ALSO: We haven’t had a chance to post about our other sick bunnies, but since our last update, poor Bart had to have surgery to remove a long and deep abscess on his back; an old girl from the Surrey sanctuary has been in semi-intensive care receiving exams, fluids and nutrients after a dental issue; Vlad’s face abscess returned requiring exams and cleaning, and many other bunny issues. (The bill at Little Paws alone is already back up to being over $1700). Donations would be so very much appreciated. Here’s our GoFundMe link. Please share!
