🏡 Ever thought about adopting backyard bunnies? It might be more compassionate, and more doable, than you think. 💚
With close to 2,000 domestic rabbits living wild in Richmond, we’re in the middle of a crisis. Adopting outdoor bunnies ethically is one of the most impactful ways to help, providing safe, enriched spaces for rabbits who might otherwise live in cages or on the streets.
All our bunnies are spayed/neutered, RHDV vaccinated, and adopted out in bonded groups (from pairs to large colonies). They're social and looking for a safe place to land.
Not sure where to start? We’ll walk you through it — from housing design and enrichment ideas, to choosing the right bunnies for your setup.
Outdoor rabbits have specific needs, but with the right guidance, they can live long, happy, healthy lives.

OUR SICK BUNNY FUND NEEDS HELP - Wee Daisy's vet bill alone is $3000 and rising! She's had abscess surgery, dental surgery and other procedures. They had to send her head x-rays to a specialist for review and there are still no clear answers. And now we may need a dental specialist which is not affordable without donations.
Any and all support is appreciated to help sweet Daisy. Her bonded friends need her! 💕🤍💕🤍
If the donation button doesn’t work, please use paypal.com/ca/fundraiser/charity/3764772, or rabbitats.org/donate
