Volunteers needed! We’re busy planning another epic spay + neuter clinic. We have over 30 bunnies that are ready for their fix, and we’re ready for the challenge – one day of streamlined teamwork at the SPCA Vancouver Animal Hospital.
We’d love to have you join the cause. The clinic will run from 8 AM to 6 PM on Saturday, May 9th. Whether you spend all day or just a few hours, your time will be appreciated!
We’re looking for:

Transporters (Richmond ↔ Vancouver)
Post-op recovery support (clinic and shelter)
Short-term fosters for bunny recovery (minimum 3 days)
Admin support (remote)

Incoming - This lionhead boy was found wandering a trail in Langley. Nearby, an abandoned crate and bowl of food... White bunnies are especially vulnerable - sitting ducks for predators!!
So when a passerby spotted him, she rushed home to drop off her dogs so that they wouldn’t spook him away.
When she returned, she was ready for the great chase, but he simply hopped up to her and let himself be picked up. Safe. 🥹
He’s safe at our Richmond sanctuary and will be looking for a forever home after his upcoming neuter.
Thanks to Sandi, Lisa, and Bonnie for bringing this bun to safety. 🤍
