Happy bunnies out at our Kindred Farm space. ❤ 🐰🐇 Two years ago supporters helped us raise enough funds to buy a small share of this wonderful co-op housing project with the Kindred Community Farm, allowing both organizations to have the stability of a forever space. ❤ It takes a lot of planning and building to accommodate all the animals, it will be a work in progress for quite some time. But the current rabbits have been moved from their rickety temporary lodgings to this sweet indoor/outdoor enclosure while Kindred constructs their new barn. (PS: This video is from a couple of weeks ago, the grass had to be covered by wire, because of course the bunnies were digging to China!) We don't know where the dust will settle on a permanent area with more rabbits (Kindred was originally looking at 10 acres and ended up with just under 5 acres so space is tight) but our Kindred bunnies are super happy and well supported by a great crew of volunteers. 🌹 🌿 ... No. 1 - Thanks so much to the group of students from New West Secondary School who started a Rabbitats Youth Club, came out to volunteer and donated $160 they raised as well! ❤️ They were awesome! They happily walked 20+ minutes from the bus stop, they were self-starters and great workers, everything we like to see! 😍 We really appreciate their help and of course the donation. 🐰😘
No. 2 - And another thank you to the staff and students at Olive Grove Childcare Hillside for donating $50 they made from a lemonade stand to Rabbitats! Its support like this that keeps us going. We can't thank you enough! 💕

Note that there will be "bunny nap times" through out the event, giving the buns a break from meeting their adoring fans. 🧡 Meet N’ Treat will end at 4:30.
