Trooper is at the Apex Animal Hospital about to undergo amputation surgery, thank you so much for your support. Wish him luck!

A happy Pochita update - post-amputation,
she is healing well, showing energy and joy.
She’s already quite stable on three legs, hopping and remaining upright.
Pochita is with us today because someone noticed she was being mishandled, she had a badly broken necrotic leg, and took action to bring her to safety.
This was no easy decision - Pochita’s rescuer put himself at risk, and has since received threats from her previous “guardian.”
But he did it anyway. Because her life was worth that risk. 🤍

76 bunnies vaccinated at last night’s The Bunny Cafe vaccine clinic!
Thanks so much to Dr. Alex Boo for volunteering his time, Chelsea for coordinating, and everyone who protected their bunnies from RHDV. We can’t stress enough how crucial this vaccine is.
If you want to attend a future clinic, please sign up at Rabbitats.org/vaccine - our clinics are always full, and we rarely get the chance to advertise. 🩷🐰

Holy baby boom! We’re crawling with little ones at the sanctuary… and they sure are keeping things interesting.
Fact - Barbie and Nurse Jean require 24/7 attention (and our volunteers only have so many hands!!)
Fact - There’s a reason we keep the guys and gals in separate areas of the shelter (the girls cannot be contained, and have been spotted chilling OVER the fence with our oldies crew… and staring longingly out the window??)
Fact - We’re in need of baby fosters asap! And more volunteers to keep these crazies busy. Please. We’re scared.
