Bunny rescue in Richmond, BC. Mom is giving birth in the middle of somebody’s lawn. (You can see where she dropped a baby in the bottom right hand corner and she’s birthing more where she is now). The ‘doting’ dad is right beside her — and humping her as she’s spitting them out. 
She will be pregnant again and we won’t be able to get her spayed because she is nursing. And people wonder why there are so many loose domestic rabbits running around! They do indeed breed like rabbits! 
These bunnies are the offspring of abandoned pets. This mom eventually had six babies, so that’s at least $700 to sterilize them, including the mom, but she’ll probably have at least another six in a month. We can’t do this without donations. www.rabbitats.org/donate
