Next weekend will be a busy one and everyone is invited! First on Saturday, September 12th, we have the Meatless Meetup Group organizing an awesome vegan potluck and work party for us. And the next day, Sunday, September 12th, we're having an Open House Social and Yard Sale! We're looking for volunteers to help with parking, manning sales tables and other tasks. Two rescues over the last few days, one worked out and one didn't. First little 'Marine', probably six weeks old, was spotted on P3 of the huge Marine Gateway parkade in Vancouver. It came as a shock to hear the grey baby had been there at least two weeks. The poor thing was skin and bones! Marine is doing great, eating and drinking to make up for lost time. (Thanks to Sammy Law for the save). ❤️ Then it took a few days to get access to catch a young injured juvenile in Richmond. Deanna took the bunny in to Petsville for emergency pain meds and xrays which sadly showed a badly broken upper leg. We were making arrangements for surgery when the bunny passed away. 😢 Donations are always needed for these cases.
