Year of the Rabbit 50/50 Raffle

Sad to report that our star bunny Maggie didn't make it through her surgery today. 💔 Rabbitats will be a darker and smaller place without all our big white bunnies. Visitors were thrilled to be greeted by our big white bunnies colony behind the house, but age thinned their ranks. We lost Maggie's mate Morgan, the biggest of them all, last year. (They have been laid to rest together). Maggie is mourned by her foster human Michael Kossin and her friend Honker, who was with her when she passed. Thanks so much to the vets at Capitol Hill Animal Hospital for taking such great care of her. We also lost Terpena today, under the foster care of Brittney Kells for the last 9 years, to old age. Another big white girl, she was originally Alice, a well-known poster bunny thanks to her initial foster, photographer Sarah Virag. Most of these rabbits were escaped or rescued meat bunnies, and we're happy that they got to live long happy lives. Still, it's devastating to lose them. RIP big girls. 🌈🥺
