Our Annual General Meeting was held at the end of August and we’re very happy to announce three new board members! Our Volunteer Coordinator, Adeline Peng has stepped up to be Secretary, and our Advocacy Coordinator, Alison Babichuk, is a Director at Large. Our third addition is our Island vet, Dr. Veronica Gventsadze, who has kindly moved from the Advisory Board to Director at Large. These awesome volunteers join the existing positions – Sorelle Saidman, President; Deanna Hamm, Vice-President; Terence Wong, Treasurer; and Mavis Tai, formerly the Secretary but now a Director at Large.
We have also added our new bookkeeper, Ken Lau, to our Advisory Board along with Cyndy Mymka, the President of TRACS, The Responsible Animal Care Society, in Kelowna.
