Rabbitats is a 100% volunteer run charity. We are a group of animal lovers dedicated to helping abandoned and feral rabbits.
We couldn’t do any of this important work without our volunteers. We are so grateful for their tireless work and dedication to helping bunnies in need.
Our Team
Sorelle, Founder + Executive Director
Sorelle is the mastermind behind Rabbitats Rescue. She works tirelessly applying for grants, doing research, developing our business plan, and attending meetings and conferences to spread the message about the issue of rabbit abandonment and feral rabbits. She is a major component of the rabbit rescue world and is constantly helping others and offering support to other rabbit rescues.
Kathy, Surrey Sanctuary Manager
Kathy is responsible for the care of over 100 rabbits! She works tirelessly to keep their enclosures clean & safe, and monitoring the health of the aging bunnies. Even though she has bunnies of her own at home, she is often bringing home ailing rabbits from the sanctuary to give them additional love and care. Kathy is an amazing advocate for bunnies and we are so thankful for her continued dedication!
Deanna, Richmond Shelter Manager
Deanna has been a volunteer with Rabbitats almost right from the inception of the charity. She maintains the Richmond shelter and the care of all our colony & adoptable rabbits. Deanna lives and breaths rabbit rescue, and is our all-star rabbit trapper and bunny whisperer. We are so thankful for Deanna’s dedication to our rescue rabbits and would be lost without her!
