Here’s the internet version of the Richmond News story. Please drop a line to the paper and let them know you appreciate the coverage and write to the Richmond Mayor and Councillors, the provincial government, RAPS, the BCSPCA, and other animal organizations and let them know you want to see more done to help the rabbits (and the property owners) in Richmond and beyond!

Canmore’s Rabbit Holes

By | News | No Comments

This is proof that the cost of a cull is as expensive if not more so than a rescue. For $350,000, at our rate, all those rabbits would have been sterilized and supported for life in a sanctuary. We did try and help the Canmore rabbits, the town never responded to us. It’s a story that required a deep analysis. There was a lot of blame on the town, the trappers and the rescues, we need to concentrate on solutions.

THANK YOU from the bottom of our HEARTS!!!!

We at Rabbitats want to thank everyone who supported our Fall Auction. We our truly blessed to have so many supporters that have been very generous with their donations to help feed our Rabbits & Medical bills. We our truly, truly lucky.

Not only do we have great online supporters we also have amazing volunteers who help out in many different ways. Without them we couldn’t do what we do and that is to give these Rabbits a better life.

Rabbitats’ Has Its First Bunny Yoga!

By | Events, News, Video | No Comments

Rabbitats’ first Bunny Yoga March 16 at UBC was an awesome success! Everybody and everybunny had a great time and we got sorely needed hay funds in the coffers. Thanks to the volunteers who brought out (or lent us) their own rabbits to join the Rabbitats’ adoptables and thanks so much to the Sauder Health and Wellness Club out at UBC for putting it on!

Thanks to Phusion Photography for the awesome video!
